Hello! We are so excited about this project!

We are Mrs. Lanterman's students. All of us are just beginning to study some very basic Spanish words and phrases. Our middle school has 6th and 7th grade. At our school, we have the same seven classes every day at the same times. Here is what our schedule looks like:
8:10 - 9:05 1st period class
9:10 - 10:00 2nd period class
10:05 - 10:55 3rd period class
11:00 - 11:30 Lunch (in the school cafeteria)
11:35 - 12:25 4th period class
12:30 - 1:20 5th period class (Mrs. Lanterman's plan period, so there are no Spanish classes at this time.)
1:25 - 2:15 6th period class
2:20 - 3:10 7th period class
Mrs. Lanterman teaches "Spanish Explore" class during 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 7th periods. This class is only one semester (from August through December) and students learn very basic words in Spanish like colors, months, weather, how to count, etc. Spanish Explore classes have both 6th and 7th grade students.
During 3rd and 4th periods are "Spanish 1" classes of only 7th grade students, which continue all school year (from August through May), and students learn how to make basic sentences such as "Me gusta comer pizza" or "Mañana voy al parque." We have just started school about a month ago, so we haven't got very far yet with our Spanish studies.
We are very curious about what your life is like. 2nd period students have put together some questions that we would like to ask you.

Great! We hope to be able to Skype with you sometime. All of my classes want to, but I don't know if you have classes at the same time. Our time zone is two hours earlier than yours. Please let me know if you find some times that would work. :)

Hi Jessica! You cannot imagine how happy my students were when they saw your students' wall wisher. All of them wanted to answer ALL the questions. As they go to different schools they have different routines, so I had to choose who was going to answer each one. They have classes in the evenings because this is an institute. It's very common here in Argentina to have English classes after school. There are lots of English Institutes where you can learn the language (no matter how old you are, from little kids to adults.) We teach English at schools, too but it is not as intensive as in these places.
Let me check my students' timetable to arrange a skype meeting with you. I think they won't have any problems to come earlier!

Great! We can't wait! :) My students are also so excited about Skyping with yours that many of them said that they would even stay after school for a Skype session if it didn't work out to do it during their class time. We are really looking forward to it!
